OK I admit it, the horrible weather isn't endearing me to training! I also had a neck problem for a few days which meant I couldn't swim. I have been keeping up the spinning class but now its almost Christmas it is all down hill for the next few weeks! Mine pies and mulled wine take over from the training plan.
I am now the proud owner of a shiny new bike, a Trek 1.5 - which hasn't left the flat yet as the weather is awful! But she will go for a spin soon......
But the most exciting news is that Tim and I are now engaged. All very exciting..... and fitting into a wedding dress is good enough motivation to train harder then ever. He is also doing the Reading Half Marathon with me!
In terms of fundraising Mum's "Guess the weight of the cake" competition made £20 - lets hope the winner enjoys it and we also did a car boot sale which made about £40, we got very very cold but every little helps. I am now £25 from my unoffical "£500 by Christmas target" - go on its the time of giving and receiving so any little donation would be appreciated
